I had my surgery Monday morning.. I woke up way too early, couldnt eat, couldnt drink and was scared beyond belief.. Joe and I got the kids up and ready to go spend the day at Grandma Lynn's and Grandpa Steve's house. Once I was checked in at the hospital I was given a room and was told to get ready.. they had way too many patients in for same-day-surgery and not enough staff on board.. it took the nurse a while to get back to me after she had me get in my gown.. they made me do a pregnancy test.. I laughed at the poor nurse when she told me I had to do one.. once she left to go get the restroom ready I sat there and prayed that God would make the test come back positive so I wouldnt have to go through with the surgery. I will admit I was very disapointed when the nurse and the anesthesiologist came back into the room. That just meant my test was negative and surgery was a go.
