The JMB Family

So... We are down to our final 38 hours before we close on our new home.. I did my daily drive by last Friday to find the 'For Sale' sign gone! Hooray!! That makes this whole thing seem a little more real. Beings they never hung a 'Sold' sign or a 'Sale Pending' sign it's a big thing! I took a couple of pictures, but because we canceled my air card and I am writing this on the iPhone, I can't share those pictures with you just yet. We are 'done' buying things for the house as of right now. We just made another trip to Lowes to buy a baby gate and a new lock set! Last week we were at Home Depot and bought paint for all of the bedrooms. Oh and we got a ceiling fan for the down stairs family room! So.. Now to clean the carpets and paint!!! Eeeekk! If you know me at all, you know I HATE painting!! I am a perfectionist so any little spot that got too much paint or not enough paint and I notice it and it pesters me haha. Yesterday I got to chaperone Kaylee's MN Zoo field trip!! It was quite the day! It started off really smooth.. I went in to school right away in the morning with Kaylee.. Kimmy came to babysit Natalie, Lily and Nathan. I ended up with a group of six kids.. Needless to say, I am not sure how teachers do it, but I know there is no way I could handle 20+ kids on a daily basis.. Here are some pictures of our day at the zoo! Kaylee had track and field on May 18th. Yup I am way behind on posting but I lost my camera with my pictues.. Found it right before a field trip.. (another post) Kaylee participated in the 50 yard dash, hula hoops, and the bean bag toss.. She placed first place in all three events!! She was SO excited and proud of herself!! Joe went in to work early so he could come home in time to watch Kaylee's track and field day. We made a family event out of it. I took Natalie, Lily and Nathan to CUB earlier in the morning to get drinks and snacks. We brought a cooler full of drinks and a bag full of yummy snacks. Grandma Lynn even came to watch Kaylee do some of her events. This is what I got after she placed first place in the hula hoops! Ready... set... GO! Kaylee is in the lead!! Hula Hoops!
