Granny style! When my husband and I first started dating, we spent a lot of time at Granny’s house. Often we would have this dish for dinner. It’s easy to make, can feed a crowd and doesn’t take a lot of ingredients! Oh and very little prep work, you have to dice an onion. Seriously! Let’s go!! Mock Chow Mein Ingredients 1 - 1 1/2 lbs ground hamburger 3 10.75oz cans of chicken w/ rice soup 1 10.75oz can cream of celery 1 10.75oz can cream of onion soup 1 medium onion, diced Seasoning of your choice, to taste Directions Cook the hamburger with your diced onion and season it how you wish. We use Kinders The Blend. Drain the grease. Add the soup cans. Yes, all of them, do NOT drain the chicken w/ rice. Cool until hot, stir occasionally so it doesn’t stick. It’s at this point we usually add another cup of cooked rice because we like it a little thicker. Then serve over chow mein noodles and sprinkle a bit of soy sauce over it if you choose. Easy peasy!
