It’s been brought to my attention that I have yet to post my cheesy potato recipe. It’s our favorite! Here you go!
Cheesy Potato Casserole
Ingredients
1 - (32 oz) package frozen hash browns, thawed (I use cubed)
1 cup melted butter, divided
1 - 10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup
12-16 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1 - 8 oz container sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 Yellow Onion, diced
2 cups corn flakes cereal
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350*
Lightly grease a 9x13 dish
Place potatoes in the bottom of the dish
In a bowl mix 1/2 C melted butter, diced onion, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salt and shredded cheddar
Spread the mixture over the potatoes
Top evenly with corn flakes
Drizzle remaining 1/2 C melted butter over the corn flakes
Bake uncovered for 45 - 60 minutes or until it is bubbling
