So much has changed since I blogged last..
My grandparents home slipped through the cracks and we wont be fixing grandma's house for her anymore. It breaks my heart. Family is meant to be there and grandma's house should be fixed! But that is out of my control. So I have had no choice but to let it go. I absolutely HATE some of my family members for how they are treating my mom over all of this crap!
L is feeling better and is back to her normal self. N2 was in the ER just two short days after L's visit. He had chest x-ray's done and was diaognosed with an ear infection and an upper-resp. infection. (common terms: cold). First they gave Nathan omnicef, that went over terribly! He because instantly more sick. So I got our Dr to send in a RX for Augmenten. Well, that gave N2 the squirts and a SORE BUM! Besides his bum, he is doing better also. He however has NOT picked back up on his usual sleep through the night routine.
N1 and K have been busy with sleepovers as two weeks ago was spring break at school for K. They spent a few nights down by grandma Candi and papa John and then when they came home the scooted off by grandma Lynn and papa Steve for two nights. I dont know how they managed to be away from home for half of spring break, but they did. Then my Miss N1 some how managed to be brought to 'the cabin' with Stevie and Erinn for two more nights!
Since I have re-started my Creative Memories business, I have had ZERO hits on it. Not so excited about that. I can't wait to be in our own house so I can hold workshops and get-togethers and everything else that I was once able to do when we lived at the apartment. I am praying it takes off soon so I can help J with the finanes and feel like I am actively bringing in an income. It just does not work out for us to have me working outside of the home right now. God has a plan and I am sure it will all work out like it always has.
It has been an interesting last few weeks. We haven't has much down-time and relaxing going on. J has been putting in 60-70 hours/week at work. Monday thru Friday 3:30am-4:00pm and then Saturdays 4:30am-11:30pm has been a typical schedule. BLAH!! He has been SO tired. But its hard to turn down the OT while it is there and if he does, well then the boss man gets to hold it over his head. And because he is still in his first 90 days and isnt union yet, well that means he has been 'showing off' so to speak and has not wanted to do anything that would make his boss second guess him. He even got to go out of town for this job. A one nighter. Not like Tri-State's week long jobs! So that was nice.
We picked up K's First Communion dress a weekend or two ago too! That is coming up on May 7th! It seems like just yesterday I was going through my First Communion. But that was nearly 20 years ago! MAN that makes me feel old! Haha! I even got her the dress that I wore. My beautiful and wonderful Grandma Christensen made it for me! I have the baptismal gown she made for me too! :o) They are very important pieces to me. I hope to be able to pass them on so my grandchildren and great-grandchildren can wear them. Doubt they ever will, but I like to think so. :o)
Well off to start our Sunday... we have some afternoon plans.. hoping we never have to repeat them again, but am not holding my breath just yet :o)
