We woke everyone up bright and early and had the babies at Lynn and Steve's so Erinn could watch them and then we headed to Kaylee's school to drop her off so she could sit with Lynn.. Then off to Methodist Hospital Joe, Natalie and I went..
Check in was at 8am for surgery at 9am.. Natalie whined the whole time that she was hungry and thirsty but she couldnt eat or drink anything so she went without.. Cant say I blame her though. I didnt eat or drink anything in front of her so I went without too.. Poor kid! I tried to get the earliest appointment in the day but 9am is all they had.. Finally around 8:50 someone came down to get us to bring us up to Natalie's room.. I was getting a little panicked when is was only 15 minutes before her surgery was supposed to start.
Natalie was pumped and ready for getting her ears fixed! Until we got to her room and the nurse handed her some pretty ugly pajamas to change into. She argued and said she wasnt putting them on.. She would rather had worn her froggy pajamas that she wore to the hospital.

The time came for us to go home. So Natalie got to put on her froggy jammies again! When she heard so could get the 'ugly' jammies off she shouted loud and clear "get these stupid ugly jammies off of me!" Amy, Joe, the nurse and I couldnt help but laugh at her. She was still half out of it, but she was 100% aware that the jammies she was wearing were ugly ones!!! Little stinker!
I had to take a pictures of the lines on the floors.. Before surgery Natalie would jump over them so she wouldnt land on the lines.. So when Joe carried her out of the hospital Natalie managed to get daddy to jump over the lines for her.. She seemed very worried that he was going to walk on the lines.. Even while half asleep.. lol
Natalie decided that she wanted pancakes on the way home so we stopped at Perkins
At this point she is still pretty loopy haha! Slurred speech and not maing a lot of sense.. Joe set her down to try and take his coat off and she just about landed on her face haha.. Poor thing!
After we were done at Perkins, Natalie got to go shopping for a new dolly. I told her the night before surgery that she could bring her blankie and one dolly with to surgery. When she woke up the morning of surgery, she screamed and cried that all her babies we in the bags! So we promised to stop and get her a new one from Target before we went to the hospital. Well, that didnt turn out the way we planned and we ended up running late with traffic so we had do it after our stop at Perkins. She picked out a dolly and we also nabbed the new Shreck movie for her to lay down and watch until the anesthetics wore off completely.
