Spent Satuday Snow'd In..

Friday night Joe, Kaylee, Natalie and I went to go see 'Mickey's Magical Journey on Ice' with Kaylee's Girl Scout troop. The girls LOVED it and I enjoyed it too! Not so sure what Joe thought about it, but all that matters is that the girls enjoyed it. I got pictures (until my worthless camera died after being on the charger all day) ad just need to go through them and edit them so you can see better.. :o) The show got out around 9:00pm and we had to go pick the babies up from Grandma's house so we got home and got everyone to bed around 10:00pm.

Yeah Saturday was terrible! Well I guess I shouldnt say terrible, but it was tough.. Shakopee got 21.5" of snow.. On top of that we had high winds. So the weather folks said blizzard.. and we were stuck in the house all day long.. With living on the farm, the driveway has the worst snowdrifts because it has fields on each side of the driveway. We started the day out with cleaning the girls' bedroom.. that took 4 hours! Then we had lunch, cleaned the living room, and then the girls were introduced to the game Connect 4! Natalie still doesnt understand that she needs to block the other player from getting four in a row while trying to get her own four in a row haha! So I helped her out.. For dinner we made pb&j sandwiches. They also had yougurt and some clementines. (should've done that for lunch and the pasta for dinner-oh well) We literally were out of groceries! And didnt get the chance to go to the grocery store the night before like everyone else to stock up!

About 4 or 5pm Joe's brother Richie came down with their dads Chevy 1-ton dump truck so he could get the bobcat to go plow out Lori & Goober's driveway. On his way up the driveway the Chevy was stopped dead in its tracks with a drift that was up over its hood! I would have gone out and taken a picture to post, but he was only 1/2 way up the driveway and I didnt feel like walking the other half.. it was cold and nasty out..

Sunday we spent most of our day (after Joe & Eddie's 3.5 hours of plowing (with a loader tractor and bobcat) the snow off of the driveways) in Carver visiting Joe's grandma and Aunt. Kaylee and Natalie played a few more games of Connect 4 over there (while fighting about whose turn it was). After we left Carver we headed to Joe's parents house.. Should have gone to Target to get diapers, wipes, and formula and CUB to get groceries, but we didnt.. We didnt feel like taking all of the kids in and out of both of the stores with it being so cold so instead I have opted to go by myself today..

As for the plans today.. we will have to play it by ear.. we are in a -30 windchill! BRRRR! I have to go start the van NOW to get Kaylee to the bus in 25 minutes.. Poor thing has to sit outside.. Eeek!
