The Power Sort Method

With the Power Sort Box, you have the tools to organize your photos – and do it right! Use these two simple steps to get your photo collection organized.

1. Collect and Decide

Gather all of your photos and ask yourself, “What are the main themes of my photo collection?” Make a list of the different themes such as family and vacations or create a timeline and sort your photos chronologically.

Big Events

No matter the event – a vacation, a celebration, and ordinary or extraordinary experience – it can be chronicled in a photo-safe Creative Memories album. The best sorting technique for themed albums is to use subcategories to separate your photos.

Chronological

Identify the approximate date of your photos then document them and place them in order.

Family Members

Start by dividing your photo collection by family members and ordering duplicates as needed. Sort each group chronologically.

2. Sort

The Power Sort System helps you categorize photos based on album projects. And it offers safe storage until you’re ready to create your album or put them into side-sleeve albums.

Organize your photos in the compartment boxes and use the compartment covers with elastic bands to securely transport photos. Use the reusable Power Sort Dividers for grouping your photos and a regular pencil to label the dividers and you can re-label them for future projects. Use the Photo Labeling Pencil to note dates or names on the backs of your photos. If you have memorabilia or panoramic prints, store them into the storage sleeve inside the cover/box lid.”

My Insight:

The Power Sort Box is what you need FIRST! After you have your photos organized the next steps will come easier and you will feel less stress when wanting to start an album project. But if you are just in need of organization and not album planning…. then the Power Sort Box is your tool too! You can organize your photos and have the readily available to take out and look at; plus the box itself has such a decorative design, that it can sit out on a coffee table or in a bookshelf and it will look nice! I leave you with this: What good are all those photos if you can’t find the ones you want? Or What good are all of those photos if they just make you feel anxious and overwhelmed when they are all over the house – in shoe boxes, drawers, closets and maybe even under the bed? Let the Power Sort Box let you feel at ease and able to celebrate those special moments in life! The Power Sort Box retails for only $28.50.
