Water Fights

Today Joe came home early.. They didn't have any work as the company didn't have the parts they needed.. So we got extra time with him today! It was very nice!

Our little ritual with our girls has been getting their ears pierced for their 'first birthday' so Joe, Lily, Nathan and I went up to the Burnsville mall to get Lily's ears pierced!! Before she had to do anything, I filled out this awfully long form so she could have the piercings done.. After I was finished with that, I picked Lily up and she spotted a teddy bear that they had sitting in the chair. She would lean away from me towards the bear and give it 'kisses' (making the *muah* sounds with her mouth hanging open is how she 'kisses'). It was all too cute! It made me want to buy her a teddy bear before we left but I didn't. Once the gal working got her little piercing guns ready we got up in the chair and I got Lily in the "lock down" position. She was such a champ!!

More laundry talk: I got two more baskets emptied today! :-D Oh and I filled up Nathan's little dresser by doing so!! It really is a little dresser! Four drawers that are not tall or long or wide.. Maybe one you could use for under grunders.. Or of the sort.. Anyways it will work for now for Nathan's little clothes! :)

After dinner we took the kids down to the water fights! I had never been to water fights before so it was kind of neat! They had three or four fire departments participating.. If you havent heard of this or havent ever been to a water fight, its a bunch of fire fighters spraying this big metal drum back and forth trying to get it on the other teams side. Lily was absolutely terrified of being there! I think the big metal drum banging around is what was scarring her.. I got some good pictures of everyone there! Which again will have to get posted once I get to wi-fi.. I hope to do that soon!
