Lily's first birthday party! & Nathan's baptism party!

Today was a day dedicated to the party for Lillian's first birthday and Nathan's baptism! Cleaning = 1/2 of the day, running errands = 1/4 of the day, and the actual party = 1/4 of the day! We had a great turn out of family and friends that joined us to celebrate such special times in our kids' lives!! Thank you SO much to Grandma and Grandpa Breeggemann for the food! Thank you to Lori and Dan for the use of their home, thank you to Grandma Rand, Katie, Kimmy, Mikey, Joey, and Josh (old neighbor) for the cheeto puffs that the girls love and for coming! Thank you to Grandma Candi, Papa John, Bre and Josh for coming and for bringing the ever so yummy noodles that Kaylee and Natalie request each time there is a party! Thank you to Amy and Matt Jung for the yummy chips and dip and for coming!! Thank you to Auntie Vicki and Great Grandma Vonnie for the rice crispies, deviled eggs, the use of the trio crock pot system, and for coming! Thank you to Uncle Eddie for coming! Thank you to Uncle Danny, Auntie Andie, Caitlyn and Nick (slept in the car after being up all night at the river cat fishing contest- we will have to bring you some cake Nick) for coming! And thank you to everyone for the gifts!

Oh and I can't forget to say thank you to Amy for snapping pictures with my camera for me!!!

Lily and the baby doll that she got from Grandma Rand

Lillian absolutely loved her book and baby doll! Oh and her crayons and notebook and her clothes that she kept trying to put on!! Each time Joe held out his hand for her to give him her book so she could open another gift, she would scream at him and yank the book closer to her body! It was just too cute!! She even gave her Teddy bear birthday card kisses because she loved that too!! And the baby doll she tried ripping it out of the box while Auntie Vicki tried opening it for her! She couldn't seem to get the doll out fast enough for the sweet little lovey!!

Now the girls are all tuckered out and are fast asleep!! As for Nathan, well typical little guy isn't wanting to go to sleep just yet.. He has been very of schedule all day today!

Oh the joys of busy unusual days for little kids.. :)

Today was another hot and humid and icky kind of day.. Tomorrow however is supposed to be a whole 77 degrees and NOT HUMID!!!!! Praise God!! I can't wait for a nice day!! Maybe we will be able to turn the A/C off and open some windows and turn the fans on! Fingers are crossed!

Now I'm off to tuck Lily into her bed and help figure out what it is that Nathan needs to get to sleep!

G'nite! <3
