Remembering..

Today has been a very loongg day.. It is also the one-year anniversary of my grandpa's passing. And the one-year anniversary that J landed his new job. And one year since my N2 first rolled over..

Last night I had my neighbor ladies over for a night of wrapping gifts, eating brownies, and a drink (or two) ;) That was very very nice!! I really enjoy my neighbors!

This morning I wake up at 3am sick as can be.. Thinking its the flu that my parents house has been going through.. Thankfully by 5:30am I was able to go back to bed and sleep a little bit.. woke up at 7:40 and flipped because the recycle wasnt out and that meant it got missed because the recycle driver goes by around 7:15am! Then while still in bed half alseep I realize its not garbage day just yet and try to stop J before he went out with the trash.. Ooops! Then it was off to 9:30 mass at school with K! I was doing really good until I took communion. Then I immediately started praying that I not get sick again until I got home from mass. Ugh! Turns out I didnt get sick again! PHEW!! So I went to CUB to get milk becuase yup, we ran out.. Once I got home J left for work.. Havent seen him for all of 5 minutes today.. and then after a easy afternoon things hit the fan once K got home.. I ended up cleaning a flooded basement bathroom and hallway because N1, L, and N2 decided it'd be fun to play in the water.. Punishment = cleaning the entryway closet and family room! Lucky for them I kept my cool with them and wanted to sit in a corner and just cry. Instead I made an easy dinner (Mac N Cheese) and watched a show with the kids and then BAM! It was 8:00 and BEDTIME! N1 left with Auntie V for a one night sleep over about 10 minutes after I laid the babies down and had the oldest two put their jammies on.. She should be returning home around 3pm tomorrow but a little break is VERY nice!

Now that I have given you a complete run down of my day I will shut up and go spend some one on one time with K. Sorry for babbling.. Tomorrow brings J's last day of work for a five days! I am SO VERY THANKFUL for day shift tomorrow and then a 5 day break!
