New Girl Scout Troop!!

Tonight Kaylee joins her new Girl Scout Troop!! I am so very excited about this! She will be meeting at the 'Log Cabin' where I used to meet with my Troop when I was younger! I am very interested in going to see the place and how much it has changed in the last 15 years! A part of me is also nervous for Kaylee just because she had been with her other troop for the last two years. But this is a good change! With this troop she will be with a school friend and she will get to see her dad more often throughout hunting season. Every other Monday and then Tuesdays are the days she will see him as she has religion class on Wednesdays and he will be gone hunting on Thursdays and Fridays and Saturdays!!

Kaylee did very well at her first new troop meeting! It turns out that not only is one of her best friends from her class in her troop, but also a gal from her troop last year AND one of her BFFs from Eagle Creek!! Yup!! One of her Kindergarten friends is in her troop and I am hoping that they can reconnect! Here I have been regretting moving her from Eagle Creek because she had a GREAT group of friends and now not only did she get the chance to have Jenna in the old troop with her last year but now she has Raegan in her new troop this year! Now all we are missing is Miss Brooklyn and Miss Aspen! I wish we still had the contact info for them so she could get together with them! Between Raegan, Jenna, Kaylee, Brooklyn, and Aspen those girls always had so much fun!

While Kaylee was at her Girl Scouts meeting, Joe and I took the rest of the kids down to Pizza Hut to use the free personal pan pizza coupons Kaylee had received from reading last year! Needless to say, we wont be going back there in a long time! The service was TERRIBLE!! We got there at 6:00! The waitress didnt come to take our drink order for 10 minutes! Even though we were one of two families in the whole place. Then it took forever to get our pizza, and when we did get it, I asked for a box for Kaylee's personal pan pizza and the waitress took Kaylee's pizza to box it I guess and didnt bring it back! We ate as quick as we could and when I asked for a box for Natalie's pizza and for ours I also asked her to please bring me the pizza that she took 15 minutes prior! Then I went to pay and when I got up there I very polietly let her know that we were not happy that it took them 40 minutes to bring us our pizza. If we order from Pizza N Pasta or Papa Johns, we have our pizza within 15-20 minutes tops! Her response was 'yeah, I know." like it didnt matter at all that she was extremely rude, and that it took forever to get our food. Grr..

Oh well! Once we got Kaylee picked up from GS we headed home and kicked back.. The girls all went to bed at 8:00 and Nathan just fell asleep so I am off to bed too! Hopefully google fixes the editing problem and returns my icon to me so I can squish these two blog posts together! Haha! Maybe tomorrow! G'nite!
