8/9/10

8/9/10 marks the day that our little man turns 5 weeks old! Wow time has gone by quickly. He is such a skinny little peanut but is eating 6oz every 3-4 hours! He is very long! Blue eyed, brown haired boy!!

Today we did dishes.. Not my favorite thing there is but it has to be done! I also gave the babies a bath.. Lillian got hers because she had a banana and cheerios for breakfast and made a HUGE mess and Nathan got his because he pooped all over everything!!! His clothes, his bouncy seat, his leg, feet, my pants, etc!! It was everywhere! Oh well!!

To top of the double bath duty right away this morning, both babies were very crabby! And the older girls couldn't help but argue as I wouldn't let them outside! I know I'm 'mama mean-a' as Nan says, but it was a scorching 100+ degrees for our heat index! We even got to our high temp record! Sorry I wasn't going to risk illness from the heat with the kids! It's not worth it! Tomorrow isn't supposed to be any better so we will bust out the crayons and coloring books or barbies or cabbage patch dolls!

We got Kaylee's school supply list and her teachers name on Sunday.. Well Saturday but we were too busy to go get the mail. Anyways her teacher is Mrs Winkler. And it just so happens that a family friend is in her class this year! That will be interesting! My guesses are.. That they'll be little stinkers and talk all of the time, or they will get so sick of seeing eachother that they will get into a dispute. My prayers are for smooth sailing! :)

Natalie was quite the stink pot today.. Even when we went to visit Joe's grandma and Aunt! She was oh so tired though! She even fell asleep on the way home! She tries so hard to find just where she fits in! She isn't sure if she wants to be a big girl like Kaylee or if she wants to be a baby like Lily and Nathan. I'm hoping that I can get a late registration done and enroll her into preschool now that she potty trained this summer!!! She needs to be with kids her age and she need a structured schedule. We will see what we can do to help her! :) She is a very good helper and loves to be given things to do so just knowing that is a huge help!

Lily is such a doll!! Granny has a statue of the virgin Mary in her little dinning areas that stands about 6 inches taller than Lily. Anyways Lily would stand in front of this statue and talk to her! Just gibberish but she had a story! She would also give Mary kisses! It was too cute!! I wish I would have had my camera with me!

I believe I'm off to bed now! :) I'm very sleepy!! And I have already got the older three sleeping and Joe's lunch made and packed away! Sweet dreams!
