Beautiful Day

What an absolutely beautiful day today!! The weather was PERFECT!! Sunny with a high of 77 degrees and NO HUMIDITY!!!! We spent the day in Carver visiting with Joe's grandma and aunt. It was actually a fairly relaxing day.. I went to CUB to get some groceries for dinner. Vicki made Chicken Alfredo! CUB has a wonderful deal on Tyson boneless/skinless chicken breast! $4.99/2.5lb bag! Which means its a ROCK BOTTOM price at $1.99/lb!!!! I got two bags (limit) for Joe's grandma and when I returned a whole 6 hours later to get some for ourselves, IT WAS GONE!! :( No worries though because I got a rain check!! And will be going back each day to check for more and if it's not in stock I'll continue to get rain checks! That is a savings of $4/bag!!! Count me in!! I prefer chicken any day over beef!!

Lily lost a NUK last night at the party and apparently it grew legs and ran away! Poor thing was very lost without it today! She has her crib NUK now for bed, but hopefully we can find her car NUK and soon!!

Natalie came to the grocery store with me both times today! The first trip she couldn't find her little shopper in training cart.. When she did find it during that trip another little girl had it. And I say 'little' lightly! She was at least 10 years old!! Seriously, these carts are made for your 3, 4, and 5 year olds.. They are tiny and this gal had to bend over to push it. Nan was VERY upset that someone else had 'her' little cart! Then on the second trip we saw a little girl pushing the little cart out to her car, which was just behind where we parked. So Nan and I went over and asked the little girl and her mom if it was okay that we used it. (They had already unloaded the one bag it held) Natalie was thrilled when they let her take it! She started out okay with the cart but as our trip went on and we lapped around the store she became very antsy and decided it was time to run around with it. She lost the cart after being told multiple times that she needed to stay by my cart.. Oh well there is always next time. :)

Nathan has been very cranky today.. And not wanting to eat on his normal schedule.. I'm not sure what is wrong with him but I will be calling the doctor to have his eyes checked. He still has VERY booger-ee eyes and has had the problem since he was born. At 2 weeks old I was told to rub by his tear ducts.. That hasn't helped. So hopefully the doctor can fix his little tear ducts so the boogers will go away!!! They are driving us nuts!!

Kaylee has been pushing us lately. She is dying for some one on one attention with Joe and I but it's very difficult to find someone to take the three younger kids so we can do that with her. :-/ Even to go school bag shopping it was Kaylee, Kimmy, myself and the other three kids! I wish there was something we could do for her! I'd like to find something to do with her before school starts.

We are 6 days away from my cousin flying in from VA with her little girl! I'm SO excited!! I haven't seen Debbie since last year September!! Now she has a 9 month old little girl named Madelyn and I am anxious to meet her! She and Lillian are 3 and a half months apart! Just about the same age gap as Debbie and I! I'm hoping the girls are the get along! It'll be nice for Lily to play with someone her own age!!

Anyways.. It's almost 10:30pm and I'm exhausted! Off to bed! G'nite!!

I'll likely have errands to run, but I'll gladly take them with!! I don't think I can handle all 3, but I can sure take Nathan +1 or the girls. I'll text you later..

  2. yaaayyy I'm so excited to come visit!! =) I cannot wait for Madelyn to have someone to play with! It's usually boring mom, grammie toy and fun daddy (when he's not working)!! lol but no little babies! She loooves other kids too. She looks up to the ones who can walk and talk. So I'm sure she'll love all of your babies! I cannot wait to see all of your little ones & hold that little baby boy of yours! =)

Also Madelyn had the overactive tear duct and the dr told us to do the same to just rub by the corner of her eye and nose... it eventually went away but she did wake up with crustys on her eye.
